Hey Everyone,

I'm sure everyone has heard about the Canadian Cancer Society and the Relay for Life. While this year I'm going to be taking part in the festivities and all I'm asking is for little of your time.

Cancer has touched the lives of so many people, some more than others. Some of your loved ones may have to life with it and have to deal with the disease, itself. I spoke from personal experience. It seems like it's all over my life. My grandfather had cancer and passed away when I was very young (I don’t even remember him), then (years later) my sister, met and fall in love with Chris. When she found out that he had cancer, she wasn’t sure if she could handle it, but how would one know if they have never had to really deal with it before. Long story short, she stayed with him, and was there for the chemo treatments, the doctor’s appointments, to hold his luscious fuck you to cancer mullet, and his hand. It wasn’t always the easiest thing to deal with and Cancer never is. I remember she would come home and be so drain or all her energy some times. But she was ALWAYS there for him and when she couldn’t be and I was in Toronto, I would always make sure he was all right and see if he needed anything.

Almost 5 years later he passed away 6 days after my sister’s birthday. She spent her birthday in the hospital with him, but she would tell you that she that it was the best birthday because he was there and he was all there. She never left his side in that last week. I saw my sister go through that pain of losing someone that she loved with every fiber or her being and I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone.

With your help we can help find a Cure for Cancer! We already have a vaccine for HPV, which can lead to cervical cancer, which is a start. With a donation of anything whether it’s $100 or $2 every little bit helps. I’m sure there are some of you that say “All the money goes to the admin.” But when you think about it, if it weren’t for the admin we wouldn’t have the Canadian Cancer Society or the knowledge about Cancer that we have.

In this day and age when everything is said to lead to Cancer, we differently need a cure. So please help me raise money to find that CURE. Whether it’s for yourself, for a loved one, or you just feel like being really nice. Please help out a good cause.
